Catalyst Session: Tracking Teens and Twentysomethings
Friday, March 13   8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
209 A/B   Anaheim Convention Center
Block: 1    Session: 1-03

Jump-start your CAMEX experience with one of the opening Catalyst Sessions. Then dig into application at your store via the follow-on Catalyst Discussion Forum. Catalyst Sessions are designed to engage you in "deep thinking" about issues or trends critical to successful campus retail. Afterward, join the related Catalyst Discussion Forum round table session targeted for your store size and discuss the implications and applications of the Catalyst Session.

Today’s teens and twentysomethings drop a whopping $642 billion annually at the cash register ($176 and $466 billion, respectively). Moreover, they are your current students and incoming freshmen. Michael Wood, VP and director of syndicated research at TRU, will present research results and consumer themes for both teens AND twentysomethings at the 2009 edition of his perennial-favorite CAMEX presentation. Enjoy Wood’s insightful delivery of expert advice on connecting to this affluent-but-fickle consumer group. Following, discuss implications and applications of his trend and consumer information in the appropriate Discussion Forum.

Catalyst Discussion Forums for all Catalyst Sessions will be offered by store size: Larger Stores ($7+ million), Mid-size Stores ($1-7 million), and Smaller Stores (under $1 million).
